Every once in a while, people go out of their way to make someone else”s life a little better. Truly kind souls do this without expecting anything in return.
When this police officer saw a little girl selling lemonade to get something she wanted, he rewarded her work ethic in the cutest way you can imagine.
Officer Ropos of Ohio pulled over one day to ask Gabrielle Garcar about her new lemonade business. He learned that she was saving money for a tablet. At fifty cents a cup, she had a long road ahead of her.
After their conversation, the officer decided he would help this young lady out by buying her a brand new tablet!
“I knew her lemonade stand wasn”t going to bring in enough money for a tablet,” he says, “but seeing that she was willing to work for what she wanted, I was willing to help her. People have helped me out in my life, so it was kind of a pay-it-forward type of thing.”
Even though he”s gotten a thousand well-deserved pats on the back for this good deed, Officer Ropos has downplayed the whole thing. According to this kind cop, “That”s how it is at Lake County. Everyone is caring here. We all give the shirts off our backs for people.”
